It is always best to call ahead to let them know you are coming and what’s wrong, so they can be ready for you when you arrive.  Do remember that Emergency clinics, like our human hospital Emergency rooms, operate on a triage system – the animals requiring the most urgent care are seen first (if that’s not you, be happy!).  The good news is that veterinary clients rarely wait as long for their pet to be seen as people at the human hospital!!
