Katie grew up just outside of Dunnville on a hobby farm, where her lifelong love of animals first began. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Ridgetown College in 2017 and spent six years working in a small animal clinic in Welland. From there, she moved to Caledonia with her fiancée to join the Grand River team. 

Katie has a special interest in surgical procedures and is passionate about her new role as a Certified Wellness Provider, helping pets live their healthiest lives.

Outside of work, Katie serves her community as a volunteer firefighter. She also enjoys scuba diving and spending time outdoors with her yellow Labrador, Goose.

Katie looks forward to getting to know all the new and existing 2 and 4 legged members of the Grand River Family.
